Natacha Boivin

Biography

Natacha Boivin is a partner based in the Montreal office. A lawyer and accredited mediator in civil and commercial law, she continues to practice in civil and commercial litigation, real estate and business law, particularly in the construction sector. Since the advent of Bill 25, she has chosen to develop her passion for information technology, assisting Quebec, Canadian and international organizations, both private and public, in their compliance with privacy legislation.

With over 30 years’ experience, she has held leadership positions, notably as partner in private practice and vice-president of legal affairs at the APCHQ, where she played a key role in the evolution of Quebec’s construction industry.

Natacha is very close to her clients, and is appreciated for her availability, openness, efficiency, thoroughness and advice on development and construction projects, from contract review and negotiation, corporate structure, obtaining Régie du bâtiment du Québec licenses and mandatory warranties, to dispute prevention and resolution.

As she also loves to provide training, she has developed a step-by-step package of services for compliance with privacy and health and social services legislation, which relies on the complete autonomy of organizations and includes not only the governance plan documents, but also all the legal and practical knowledge required to manage these important laws and avoid sanctions. To date, more than 500 companies have benefited from our support.
