Biography

Managing Partner of the Quebec City Office and Leader of the Tax Law Group

Martin is a co-founder of the firm, a leader of the Canadian Tax Group, and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. He practises tax law and corporate law for all the Canadian offices of DS Lawyers Canada.

In the course of his practice, Martin has developed particular expertise in corporate financing, buy-sell transactions, corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, employee incentive structures, real estate taxation, natural resources taxation, taxation of professionals, and estate planning. His mandates involve both SMEs and major corporations, and he also represents his clients before the tax authorities.

He is a member of the Association de planification fiscale et financière (APFF) and the Canadian Tax Foundation.
